Girl in Blue Knit Jumper by Elisabeth Pongratz: Signature hand carved wood, poseable body, hand-painted features & a red mohair wig styled in pigtails. Ensemble entirely knit by hand. Elisabeth is from a time & culture where children were not showered with new dolls every year: they had one precious doll to play with throughout their childhood. Guided by this philosophy, she creates dolls to stand the test of time. Pongratz dolls are meant to be held, played with & cherished for a lifetime.:
